why the waiter noses prompted to choose a bread from the many types that brings in the tray when I really want one? The other day I decided and told the waiter at dinner. Do you know that I replied stiffly? No. That would take more trips if need be but I only put one at a time. With the hunger that Ivan and I always have and these guys are going rationing. Why strive to explain in detail the dish is served, despite telling them not to speak French? Sometimes they find it harder to describe than to devour us. And at the end why do we have to choose between cheese platter or dessert when we really want both? But why do not relax and let us dine alone? And why do they have to be so strict about mealtimes? As you pass at 14:00 and you do not get to eat even if you look half dead. Supposedly the Germans are strict, but we have eaten and eaten in Germany at about the time we wanted.
Finally, today the day we started late, about 9:00. The alarm has sounded at 7:00, but there was no way out of bed because yesterday we ended up very tired. Then we have repented for the heat and squeeze a great time. Can be illustrated by recounting that we have consumed a gallon of water, two cans of isotonic drink and eleven pieces of fruit per head, including a quarter of a watermelon at a roadside fruit peddling. The profile was a constant up and down, hence it has cost us so long.
The first fruit we have eaten in a small village called San Martin de Londres . It was about 11:00 and the premises were gathered in the plaza around the fountain. Why? Simply because the place invited. There was a parking charge someone with design firm that justifies its budget based on cement and metal. It was just a place with three large and inimitable trees and stone benches.
Tomorrow we get up at 6:00 to make way in the first fresh hour. We arrived Pyrenees and must cross somewhere. We decided to do by the D115 road that connects with the C38 and leads to Camprodon , in the province of Gerona. We must go beyond 1,620 meters port from which we climb in two days, morning to an altitude of approximately 500/600 meters, and the rest for Friday, along with the long descent during which cross the border. Camprodon brings back memories. There I broke my scaphoid in his right hand in a fall while on the Transpirenaica MTB. Had not returned since. Surely this time we do best.
