JL: With some delay writing the post for the last leg between San Carlos de la Rapita and Castellón. The path has nothing special since passed by the National Highway 340 . Few kilometers to reach full speed when we had indicated. We just knew we had to get on the 13:00, without further explanation. There was a surprise in store.

And that was the highlight of the day: the reception that we dispensed our city, organized by Record Go and City of Castellón. In the Plaza Mayor de Castellón had installed a inflatable finish arch and around all our comrades s, @ s friend, family and supporters of the blog. Also present were many media: Radio Nou Nou Canal, Mediterranean, Onda Cero, Cadena Ser, Las Provincias, Valencia, etc .... The event was chaired by the Director General of Record Go , Victor Carratala, the Councillor for Sports Castellón, Vicent Sales, and Provincial Chairman of the English Association Against Cancer Dr. Folch .

Reuniting with loved ones, photographs, commemorative delivery, bouquets, yellow jersey champions, bottle of champagne, etc. .., really a rush of emotion that made our already revolutionized heart race even more. People gathered there embraced us and treated us like we were heroes, which Ivan and I seem exaggerated. These days we said to each other that we have the feeling of having done something so extraordinary. But the truth is we really appreciate all the words of congratulations and recognition we receive. They were very special moments: it is very gratifying to see how other people are deluded by your actions. Thank you very much everybody.

The feeling of reaching the goal was very strange. On the one hand full of completing the challenge and relief to rest. On the other hand it gives you the impression that you're seeing the end of a movie you liked and did not want it to end. This shows that although the goal is always to reach a goal, the nice thing is enjoy the process. So the goals are not only moving points that must be overcome, but it is really stimulating and educational make way.

Our friend Paco is currently parked in the garage Record Go until we decide his fate. Its mechanics have behaved excellently. Has not given us any major problems, more than a few tire changes (quite normal) and the replacement of a saddle. With him we made a good choice and we were not disappointed. I do not know what he would say if it could talk. Maybe give thanks for having had the opportunity to meet so many places and people I would say it has striven to do my best, that is proud of its participation in this project is dead tired and has lost weight ... ... .. But I'm sure he thinks is that he is glad to have met the wind, the sun and the road and having worked as a team with them face to face.

We think it was just a couple of days when we left, because in spite of the hardness of the company's all over very quickly.

And the day after? In the days following the arrival of freed you feel like not having to go on the road. While trying to return to normal at once. There are many routines and obligations to return and do it ASAP. The world is spinning and you mark a rhythm.

If as of today we have returned to normal work and conventional life, then why all is again as before? I think not. Nothing is the same after an experience like this. We have grown, we have learned and above all hope to have generated some impact on the culture that surrounds us. Sometimes the pace with the planet is not the best and should be replaced. This project has not had anything to do with cycling or with a trip. It's about the human capacity to use imagination and inner strength to put the service of a desire, has to do with the desire to be better each day using the talent to useful purposes, healthy and constructive, and has to do with constancy and fidelity by a vision.

That is the example that I hope you have seen those who have known and participated in this project .

This post-posthumous DAILY , but not BLOG. There are still things to be told. The project does not end here: we study the possibility of publishing a book, audiovisual material we have much still to climb, and TV2 is going to issue a documentary ......, and indeed the gifts section is still open and the shirts are for sale.
