Strong Heartbeat And Trouble Breathing

Hurtigruten cruise launches 'Climate Pilgrimage' for 2010

A unique expedition that will take passengers front line of climate change research in the Arctic

As leader of the Cruises Expedition, with trips to some of the most remote regions of the world, Hurtigruten devotes much effort to convey to its guests their knowledge in a number of issues - culture, geography, history, wildlife - and more important these days, some of the reasons and effects of climate change on these regions and wildlife. This topic is the main focus of a new cruise ship 'The Climate Pilgrimage "(" Pilgrimage of the climate ") that will sail from North Norway and the Arctic Islands Spitsbergen, or Svalbard as they are known.

Svalbard has become an icon where climate scientists, heads of state, politicians and dignitaries as the Prince of Norway and the UN secretary general will aa learn what is happening with the climate.

11días The Hurtigruten cruise on board of a new polar exploration ship, MS Fram, will offer guests the opportunity to visit research stations, monitor wildlife, and participate in field studies and meet some of the most important scientists, experts in climate change.
